       I listened to HU English Podcast (363) "A trip to India" today.  In the beginning of the podcast, they were talking about Indian Accent of English.  I got some knowledge about how Indian people speak English, which was interesting and fun to listen to.      When it comes to accent, we have Japanese accent of English.  We will be talking about Japanese Accent this time.      Let me explain typical Japanese Accent's pronunciation shift. (although I'm not sure about this term is correct or not.)  Some sounds (especially consonants) are not distinguishable to  Japanese people (Japanese speaker): L and R (There are not L or R in Japanese) th and s, sometimes th and z (There is not th in Japanese) v and b (There is not v in Japanese) n and m (unless being followed by voels) si and shi (Japanese doesn't have "si" sound... Spanish speakers will laugh at this!) r u n and r a n (There is not this "a" sound in Japane...

 Hello, everyone!! Today, I'm going to write about the order of Japanese names as in the title. This is strange topic to talk about with you, because you almost all are Japanese. Domestically, the order of our names is of course family-name to given-name. (as my name is 宮島 渓太) And then, in English classes, you probably use given-name to family-name order. (However, I stuck to family-given order throughout 1st semester.)   I think this is because the name order of English people (or American people??) is in this order. And then, what about the order of the names of the people from areas other than English-speaking countries in English context. Today I listened to a podcast called “It's Important to Be Honest during Interviews”. When I worked as a janitor of Walgreens, I went back home in your jacket by accident. It was a very cold day so you had a tough time, I guess. Hello!  Today, I'm going to introduce myself. I am Keita and I'm a physics student and I like to... YES! My introduction is UNREFINED!  I am not good at introducing myself even in Japanese, much less in English! I think I have two problems as following :   1)my English skill being poor   2)not knowing what to talk about with new people Speaking of 1), that is for what I studying English and I wish it will improve, so please let me put that aside today.
